Current limits

  • Public URLs, guest access, and custom domains are not available.
  • You can inspect the generated code, but you can’t edit it directly or sync it with Git.
  • Apps can’t call external APIs directly or pass files to integrations.

Sharing limits by plan

On Langdock Core, you can share an app with up to 5 users. Sharing with groups or the whole workspace needs Langdock Work. See Publish and share an app.

Access problems

Apps is missing from the sidebar

You don’t have access to the Apps product. Ask your workspace admin to give you access. See Enable Apps.

You can’t create or share apps

Your workspace role decides whether you can create and share apps. If you see “Your workspace role does not allow you to create apps.” or “Your workspace role does not allow you to share apps.”, ask your admin for the Create apps or Share apps permission.

An app doesn’t open

  • App not found: The app may have been deleted or is no longer shared with you. Ask the app’s owner for access.
  • App isn’t created: The app isn’t created yet. If you own the app, open the editor and click Create.
  • Couldn’t load the app. Click Retry.

Build problems

A build fails

If a build fails, the preview shows “Build failed”:
  • For a new app: The app couldn’t be built. Fix the errors to see the preview.
  • For a change to an existing app: The latest changes couldn’t be built, so the preview still shows the last version that worked.
Click Fix with AI to ask the builder to fix the build errors. You can also describe the problem in the chat.

Creating the app fails

When Create doesn’t work, Langdock shows why:
  • Build the preview before publishing the app. Wait until the preview is ready.
  • The preview is behind your changes. Rebuild the preview before publishing. Wait for the latest build to finish.
  • The latest build failed. Fix the build and try publishing again. Fix the build first. See A build fails.
  • Wait for the AI to finish. The builder is still working on your last request.
Where available, click Fix with AI to let the builder fix the problem.

Sharing problems

  • The share dialog shows Create your app first: You can only share an app after you create it. Click Create app in the dialog.
  • You can’t add more users: On Core, an app can be shared with up to 5 users. Ask an admin about Langdock Work to share with more users and with groups.
  • You can’t choose Everyone in workspace or add a group: These options need Langdock Work.

Integration problems

An action doesn’t work

Check the app’s Integrations tab:
  1. Make sure you selected a connection. See Choose your connection.
  2. Check whether the action shows Pending. Click Allow to give the app permission.
  3. If an action shows “Not available to you”, you can’t use it in this app. Ask the app’s owner or your admin.
If your choice can’t be saved, Langdock shows “Couldn’t save your choice. Try again.”

If a problem continues, contact Langdock support and include the app’s name and link.
