Agent management features are available to workspace administrators.
What Are Unassigned Agents
An agent becomes unassigned when:- The owner’s account is removed from the workspace
- The owner is deactivated through SCIM or manual admin action
- The original creator transfers ownership but the new owner is later removed
Unassigned agents continue to function normally for users. However, they cannot be edited until a new owner is assigned.
Why Reassignment Matters
Without an owner, an agent:- Cannot be updated or modified
- Has no one responsible for maintenance
- May become outdated over time
- Cannot receive feedback responses from users
How to Reassign Ownership
- Go to Workspace Settings → Agents
- Filter by Unassigned to find agents without an owner
- Click the ⋮ menu on the agent and select Assign owner
- Search for and select a workspace member as the new owner
Best Practices for Ownership
- Assign agents to team leads or department heads who can ensure ongoing maintenance
- Consider creating a shared service account for organization-wide agents
- Document ownership expectations in your AI governance policies
- Set up a regular review schedule to check for unassigned agents
