Configuration Reference

You can find the recommended configuration for each model (API type, context size, max output tokens, and special settings) in the Adding Models page. Please reach out to us if you have any questions. We recommend adding at least the flagship models from leading providers to give your users good coverage:
Add these model types:
  • Latest flagship - Most capable for complex tasks
  • Efficient variant (mini/nano) - Fast, cost-effective for everyday use
  • Reasoning model (o-series) - For analytical and mathematical tasks
Look for the highest version number available. OpenAI increments version numbers with each major release.

Staying Current

AI models are released frequently. To keep your BYOK workspace current:
  1. Monitor provider announcements - OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google announce new models on their blogs
  2. Check version numbers - When a new version appears, consider adding it
  3. Reference our docs - We update the model configuration tables as new models become available
  4. Contact support - Reach out if you need help configuring new models
Model naming follows consistent patterns across providers. See our Model Guide for help understanding these patterns.
