Integrations

Integrations can be used in assistants, which are chatbots that are created for a specific situation and follow instructions based on attached knowledge.

With integrations, these assistants become even more powerful. Before, you had to manually copy and paste the results between applications, or attach documents the assistant should be able to use as a knowledge base within the assistants’ knowledge section. Now, integrations can take many of those steps away. Integrations handle the authentication with the third-party application you want to make available for your assistants.

For example, you can now use the following integrations: Jira, HubSpot, Google Sheets, Excel, Outlook, Google Calendar, and Google Mail.

You can find an overview of all integrationshere. Moreover, assistants provide a set of actions your assistants can perform.

Actions

Actions are explicit tasks or interactions an assistant can perform with your integrated application or tool. This can include searching for specific documents, downloading them to answer questions based on their content, or even creating new files and altering rows in a spreadsheet.

Within your assistant, you can select which actions should be added to its toolkit, whether you want to approve each action before it is executed, and can provide required context knowledge within the assistants’ instructions.

You can find a detailed guide on how to use actions within assistants here.
