Skip to main contentSecurity: SAML and SCIM
If you’re using an identity access management (IAM) solution like Microsoft Entra or Okta, the first step is to set up SAML and SCIM. You can do this in the security settings and can find dedicated guides here.
Member, Group and Role Settings
Members: Manage your members in the member settings to change user roles or invite users (if you’re not using an identity access solution).
Roles: Configure permissions for different roles in the roles settings. We recommend starting with the default configuration and letting all users (except admins) have “member” permission initially. This can be changed at any time. You can find an overview of recommended permissions based on our customers’ rollouts here.
Groups (optional): Create groups to reflect different project teams or departments in the Groups settings. You can also sync groups from your identity access management solution.
General Workspace customization
Add a workspace icon, rename the workspace to your company name, and add a description in the general settings. The company description is sent to the model with every prompt from every user and helps the model understand your company context.
Further customization
You can further customize your Langdock workspace appearance to become your company-branded AI solution in the customization menu. Here are the most important settings:
Brand color: Add your company’s hex code to change the color of primary buttons and highlights. We recommend avoiding colors that are too bright or too dark to work well with both dark and light mode.
Chat disclaimer: Many workspaces add a chat disclaimer to communicate legal disclaimers or that AI models can make mistakes. The disclaimer appears below the chat input field.
Info boxes: In empty chats, you can display up to three info boxes with tricks and hints. You can also link to your internal wiki if you have written documentation.
Custom links: In the sidebar, you can add custom links below the assistants, prompt library, and integrations sections. These links can forward to your documentation.
Filling the prompt library and assistant library
To give your users a great start with example use cases, you can add assistants or prompts to the workspace. This could include an internal help chatbot, frequently-used prompts like the email prompt, grammar corrector, or translator. You can find inspiration here. Present these in workshops and check-ins with your users.
