# Get an Agent

> Fetch one agent's review status and compliance rule results.

Returns one agent with the same fields as a [list](https://docs.langdock.com/en/developer/governance-api/list-agents.md) item. The body is `{ "agent": { ... } }`.

## Base URL

https://api.langdock.com/governance/v1/agents/{agentId}
```

> Replace `api.langdock.com` with `<your-deployment-url>/api/public` in all requests.

## Prerequisites

* **API key** with the `GOVERNANCE_API` scope
* **Enable Governance** is on
* `agentId` is the agent UUID

## Behavior

* **Agent not available?** Returns `404` with the message `Agent not found`. That includes an unknown id, an archived agent, an agent template, and an agent hidden by **Hide private resources in Governance**.
* **`agentId` is not a UUID?** Returns `400`.
